Life of a great Actor

Amrish Puri, a great asset to the Indian Film Industry, passed away at the age of 72 in Mumbai, due to brain hammoerage. He has acted in over 200 films, and his performance in each one of them is beyond imagination. His towering personality and his sense of humour has charmed the public, that he will really be missed. He is the 'most lovable villain' in movies. He has starred with many great actors like Amitabh Bachan, and many others. His career started off as a villain in many films. Of course, he did do a lot of character roles and has acted in a lot of comedy films. Some of his popular movies that I recall are Mr.India, Nayak, Taal. There are many, many more films that come to my memory, but I guess it will be an endless list. He has also starred in one of Steven Spielberg's Film, "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom". As I'm putting down my thoughts, I'm reminded of a very recent movie that I saw. It is "Hulchul", where he plays the role of a strict father to four young men. He is so much of a woman hater in his film. Though the theme of this film is very strong, it is full of comedy. Amrish Puri has done a superb job in this. His contributions to the Bollywood industry is so immense, that his demise will create a vacuum, which cannot be filled. He would definiltely be one of the many great people, who will be remembered for many many years.
